We offer a range of engineering analysis & Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) services, including thermal management through the use of CFD methods and structural engineering including FEA, either as a standalone service or as part of our product design and development services.
We like to think we’re different from the “average” design company. Our background in highly reliable infrastructure equipment has given us clear focus on function first, then form. In a sense it’s like designing from the inside out, rather than starting from the outside.
Our development process ensures that we do our engineering work very early on, in the concept stage. In this manner we have confidence that our chosen concept is technically valid and will meet all performance requirements. This means that by the time we reach the detailed design stage, it is more a case of refinement of a sound concept rather than design experimentation!

With the passage of time the electronic devices manufacturers are able to design systems that are increasingly more powerful and smaller. This increase in power density presents new challenges in thermal management.

Structural Engineering & FEA
We perform detailed structural analysis of parts and sub-assemblies, from simple force-deflection “hand” calculations to complex large-scale deformation behaviour and time-domain simulations such as a drop test simulated by non-linear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
