Thermal architecture solution for a military Remote Radio Head (RRH)
This activity involved providing our thermal management consultancy / expertise to produce a system-level thermal solution for a high-performing radio product. The product in question was a Remote Radio Head (RRH) used for military commnications in theatre.
Initially a number of concepts were generated and the most effective selected for further development. The innovative solution featured air bleed ducts to channel the cooling air from the fans to multiple heatsinks in remote parts of the system.
