Rapid manufacture of parts to alleviate production stop-ship
This task was to urgently identify and engage a supplier to manufacture plastic components in order to alleviate production shortages leading to a stoppage in production.
The plastic parts in question were made by Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques from material that was representitive of the production parts.
Parts were produced and delivered within 4 days.
