State-of-the-art heatsink technology trade-space study for UAVs
A study into the relationships between cooling performance of state-of-the-art heatsink technologies against footprint area and (critically) mass.
The study would explore the performance boundaries of numerous heatsink manufacturing technologies to enable the client to gain knowledge of the heatsink performance landscape.
Thermal simulation work was performed using our in-house proprietary 1-D heatsink modelling tools followed by 3D SolidWorks CFD Simulation.
