Design for volume manufacture of an LTE antenna for ATEX applications

Full lifecycle design, from concept to volume production of an LTE antenna suitable for use in an ATEX environment.

The design features an articulating joint, requiring the application of several seals, some of which were bespoke. The assembly was designed to be manufactured in the client’s production facility in Asia through high-volume techniques such as Plastic Injection Moulding. Static dissipative materials were used on some parts to achieve the ATEX requirements.
